Illini Ready Mix strives to produce a quality product delivered in a timely fashion. Our goal is to make sure our customers are satisfied with both our product and our service to them.

History

llini Ready Mix, previously known as Anna Ready Mix, has been in operation for 53 years. Two brothers, Ralph and Melvin Basse, founded the company in 1954.

Some of the earlier projects that helped Anna Ready Mix get its start include I-57 between Anna and Cairo, I-24 between Vienna and Metropolis, the Mississippi River Bridge at Cairo, grain silos at Bunge Corp. in Cairo, along with numerous homes and businesses throughout Southern Illinois.

Anna Ready Mix became Illini Ready Mix when it was purchased by E.T. Simonds Construction Company in 1999. Currently Illini Ready Mix has grown to employ 26 individuals and own 25 mixer trucks. Today we are proud to service all jobs from the smallest residential pours to large commercial jobs.
